The Bayou City Performing Arts will be giving a free
community concert to the public on Thursday, July
10, 2008 at Resurrection Metropolitan Community Church at the corner of 11th and T.C.
Jester at 7:30 PM.
This concert will feature ALL of the performance groups of
BCPA: Gay Men's Chorus of Houston, Bayou City Women's
Chorus, Bayou City Chorale (men and women) and the new Bayou Rhythms
a small selection ensemble of 12 voices of men and
women.
The concert program will present all of the performance
pieces that these groups will be singing at the upcoming GALA
FESTIVAL VIII in Miami Florida July 11-19. There are over 5000
festival singers registered from 130 GLBT choruses from around the
world! We will be singing at the new Carnival Center for the
Performing Arts both in Symphony Hall and the Opera
House. We are going to make Houston
proud!

friendship!
A love offering will be taken for the BCPA Scholarship
fund to help singers with financial assistance to attend these
kind of special events! We hope to see you there.
